The refined network podcast. So we are here. You're going to hear a lot of people in the background. You might hear some wind noise because we are outside. I've got to catch an Uber in 15 minutes. We are finishing up at the L’ANZA big event at the time.
You're probably listening to this. If you're listening to the release date, we finished up, let's say it's February 20th right now. So we were marketing, teaching, doing all kind of stuff about the refined network at the big event. So we just want to do like a quick recap. We were having lunch, Christopher, and you're like, how do you feel?
I was like, dude, I'm exhausted, but like in a good way. How are you feeling?
Chris: that exactly the same. I had, I think my collective sleep, it went up [00:01:00] quite a bit last day. It's been like 14 hours in the last, I think four and a half days. So I'm feeling really good, but also positively exhausted.
Evan: Yeah, I I was out late last night and I thought it was like irresponsible, but then you know what? I'm out here networking, talking to people. And I just drank water the whole night. So that's probably why I feel pretty good,
Chris: Smart man.
Evan: The refined network, we launched a soft launch this past week.

Evan: We launched the refined network. Tell people why we put this thing together, Christopher, because there, there's a lot of coaching networks out there, coaching companies, coaches. What makes us different?
Chris: I love that question. And the main thing I think about is this. There's so many, there's so many other companies that are out there. And for them to be able to work with you, you got to jump through all these hoops. Sometimes you have to sell it with a specific, manufacturer. But [00:02:00] really it, for me, it's at the end of the day. We want to help you through your pain points We don't want to though for to be clear.
We're not trying to have you replicate our businesses We just want to come in and help you with yours with wherever your pain point
Evan: Yeah. And we want to refine your business and if we need to subtract some things like that you're doing to, we can add to it to refine it. That's why we built this company and Christopher, this is the first time we actually been in person since we've launched the company and it's just been phenomenal.
Like you've been so great. You compliment me so well. So if you're a leader listening to this right now, you don't need to be well rounded. You need to be really good at what you're good at and then have people compliment your strength. So you've done that. Some, so some things that we've launched this weekend.

So guess what? We've got two more. We have one in September. And the date in September, if you are interested, there's only a limit of 20 people that can, that we're going to have because we want to keep this we want to keep it small.

Because we believe that you can't do life alone and you definitely can't do business alone. So that date is September 21st the 22nd and 23rd and that's in Greenville, South Carolina and then October 6th 5 the 5th 6th and 7th.
Hey, I've used all my words this weekend. My plane ride. I'm not gonna say a thing but October 5th, 6th, and 7th is in Appleton, Wisconsin at Anagen 11, the Christopher Salon. We don't want you to come alone. 3, 000 for two tickets. If you want to add on someone, it's 3, 800. And with that, it we'll take care of you once you get there. But travel, the flights, and the Hotel or on you because people like to stay different places and stuff like that.

Where do we even get to we're going through the scale so once you get in the scale I know I talked about it earlier and I said the piece about how you get more one on one time with us But the other things that you get you're going to get at that level of it we do bring in some workshops.
The workshops are really something, this weekend was again such a testament to it. Digital is beautiful, but getting a people, getting a group of people in the same room together to be able to talk about a topic, raise our competence to it, gain some confidence within whatever that subject matter is.
It's so evident, it's so evident and obvious that people in the industry want to see that. We obviously, we're going to be using digital as much as what we can, but still want to say we're going to be in your salon with you and your team having these experiences and really raising the level, both from a culture standpoint and then an operational standpoint.
Evan: And the last thing we're going to tell you about the refined network is we're releasing an artist academy. So what if I told you, Hey, we're going to have a system. [00:09:00] That on day one to six months, we're going to train, we're going to have a course that trains your people. Now it's not completely hands off.

Evan: it's going to train your new stylist, your associates, your assistants, and they're going to all get the same training. And when you get the same training, you as a company start moving together, you're going to get PDFs. You're going to get onboarding material how to hire how to look for it how to do certain haircuts how to do certain color And it might be like hey watch this video on this Bob now go grab a mannequin Do this Bob and then you got to get sign off from your educator that you've done this We're creating that if you want to be a part of this you can do it now You can't get the big event special because that's done and gone But you can get in
Chris: can get
Evan: at 1, [00:10:00] 999. You can get it. Christopher, is it ever going to be that cheap again? Never, because we're going to be doing, think about it. If you don't, if you're not in video world to do videos, it takes so much time. And so this is going to take a lot of time. It's going to take a lot of work. And so we want you to be the first to be a part of it.
And you actually get in the group to help us. plan this. Now we have a plan of what we're going to do, but we'll lay it out and say, Hey, is this what you guys are looking for? Is there anything we need to as or anything we need to take away? So for 1, 999 to train your staff, Christopher, would you pay that to train
Chris: day long. And what I've been saying with it is, if you've been building team no matter how long you've been building team, the main thing is starting out with consistent, clear verbiage for someone that's coming into your salon company. There's such a high end value of that. The one thing I also want to talk to as well that we're going to hit on is though.
Is how do you screen, how do you [00:11:00] find out these are great people, right? These are all things in all parts of conversations that we've been having all weekend. And it really, there's so much that goes on before that human is even, coming into your company. So we're going to help you out from that point of it, from the moment that they're in your company.
Take them through onboarding paperwork, your manual, do everything that we need to do on the back end so that you have everything that you need HR wise. And then also, it's, I'm just going to call it like we're trying to raise the professional quotient in the industry, trying to create some consistency.
And that's really what this package is going to do and what this product is going to do. It's going to take some of the things, clear up your onboarding process, make sure that the idea and your vision. of your salon company is properly articulated to that new human coming in, because here's the thing.
I think it's where we fail. When we have expectations that have not been communicated, that's where we fail. And this, the purpose of this is so that it's clear and consistent and we make sure that we get that point across so that these people [00:12:00] that you're putting your passion into, your heart into, and of course the most important thing, your time into, that it's worth it.
